New build (2519) – control JPG compression and Custom-resize through the context menu
New week, new version.. (Download here) – Note – you will need to log off and log on for all the features to properly start working.
The following has changed:
1. New! You can now control JPG compression. On the resizer window, you will see the following button:
Clicking this brings up the following dialog:
Clicking the quality radio button will enable re-compression of the image. This will allow you to decrease the size by giving up some quality.
2. New! Setting a custom size on the resizer as a default, will make it appear in the context menu. So, for example, if you find yourself resizing to 160 very often (for thumbnails) or to 1600 (because you have a 15mp camera and 1600x1200 is a “small” picture), you can now use this feature:
3. Fixed: The defaults now appear in the resizer window.
4. Fixed: Resizer now checks for a new version only once a week instead of every day.
